Police are looking for clues to the motive of the murder of a female real estate agent, who was shot dead, in Taman OUG in Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday afternoon.
Police are calling on members of the public who have any information on the incident to come forward to assist them.
Kuala Lumpur CID Chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner Rusdi Md Isa, said in the 2.30 pm shooting, the victim’s 8-year-old daughter, was also injured.
It happened when the 32-year-old victim was driving a Toyota Vellfire vehicle with her five children, aged between two to 13 years, and a maid.
The victim and her family just finished eating at a restaurant nearby and wanted to go to Pulau Pinang for a holiday, when two male suspects riding a motorcycle shot her.
The victim was about to move her car, when two suspects on a motorcycle, stopped and fired at least five shots at close range, with one of it hitting the victim’s neck.
The real estate agent, died on the spot.
The victim’s daughter is being treated at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre, UMMC.
Probe is being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
